The most flexible booking we take, and the one that fits a working pattern best. A van and two crew for a room, a part-load or a single heavy thing — a few hours rather than a cleared day.
Not every move needs a lorry and a morning off. A lot of them need two hours and a van.

What actually fits in a van
More than people expect and less than they hope. A one-bedroom flat, a large room, a sofa plus a bed plus twenty cartons — all comfortable. A two-bedroom house with a full loft, not in one trip.
We will tell you which before you book, because two trips priced as one is how a cheap job becomes an expensive afternoon.
Single rooms in shared houses
A large share of this work around the station and towards Southall. We treat it as its own job: park once, carry once, leave the hallway clear, and do not spend an hour blocking a kitchen other people are trying to use.
Where several rooms are moving the same day to different places, tell us up front. It is entirely doable and it wants planning rather than improvisation.
It fits a rota
This is the point of the service on this site. A van booking is a few hours rather than a cleared day, which means it fits into a gap in a shift pattern instead of requiring annual leave.
Early, late, weekend, or the middle of a weekday — the slot is yours to pick, and short bookings are the easiest thing we have to place at an odd hour.
What it is not
It is not a house move done cheaply. Where the volume genuinely needs a removals vehicle and a full crew, we will quote for that instead and explain why — a van doing three trips costs more and takes longer than the right vehicle doing one.

01 How much fits in a van?
A one-bedroom flat or a large room comfortably. A house with a full loft, not in one trip — and we will tell you that before you book rather than after the second journey.
02 Can you collect from a shop or a seller?
Yes. A secondhand purchase collected and delivered in one trip is one of the commonest van bookings we take.
03 Do you do single heavy items?
Regularly — a sofa, a fridge, a bed frame, a piano is a different conversation. Tell us what and from where.
04 Is two crew always included?
Yes. One person and a van is not a service we offer, because stairs and heavy items need two and the alternative is somebody getting hurt.
05 Can you come at an odd hour?
Short bookings are the easiest thing to place at an odd hour, so usually yes. It is the best-fitting service on this site for an awkward rota.
06 What about a room in a shared house?
Common work here. We park once, carry once and leave the communal areas as we found them.
When can you actually be there?
Both addresses and the shift pattern rather than a date. We will hold a slot against the rota and firm it up when the roster lands.
